Dylan J Walruff is a licensed public adjuster based in Port Charlotte, Florida, proudly serving property owners throughout the Gulf Coast and beyond. Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, he brings Midwest work ethic and focus to every claim he handles.

Before becoming a public adjuster nearly three years ago, Dylan spent more than a decade managing operations for a major retail chain with over 100 locations. That experience sharpened his skills in logistics, leadership, and customer service—skills he now applies to guiding clients through complex insurance claims.

Dylan specializes in hurricane, wind, and water loss claims—events that often leave families overwhelmed and unsure where to turn. In his first year and a half, Dylan worked as a desk adjuster managing and negotiating a high volume of claims, sharpening his understanding of the claims process and sharpening his skills to successfully advocate for the insured.

“What I love most about this work is lifting the burden off my clients’ shoulders,” Dylan says. “Helping them move from devastation to resolution is what keeps me motivated.”

Known for his honesty and drive to constantly improve, Dylan is committed to getting better every day and giving each claim the focus and attention it deserves. He’s also learning Spanish to better serve Florida’s diverse communities.

Outside of work, Dylan enjoys watching football, fishing, and laser engraving. He’s a husband, father to one son, and dog dad to Oliver—a playful mini goldendoodle who keeps the household on its toes. His wife jokes that he’s fluent in movie quotes, especially from Shrek, and he owns that with pride.
