Frequently Asked Questions
From our new clients — like you.
A. A public adjuster is a licensed insurance professional who works exclusively for you — the policyholder. Bellmore inspects your property damage, reviews your policy, documents every dollar of your loss, and negotiates directly with the insurance company on your behalf. You do not have to deal with the insurer at all. That is our job.
A. Nothing upfront. Bellmore works on a contingency fee — a percentage of the settlement we recover for you, regulated by the state in which your property is located. We walk you through exactly what that means before you sign anything. If we do not recover more for you, you owe nothing.
A. Yes. You can hire a public adjuster at any stage — before you file, after a low offer, or after a denial. A denial is not always final, and a first offer is rarely the best one. Call us wherever you are in the process.
A. Storm and hurricane damage, wind and hail damage, water and flood damage, fire and smoke damage, mold damage, and denied or underpaid claims of all types. We even handle crop damage on farm land. If your property sustained damage that you believe should be covered, contact us for a free review.
A. We aim to respond to every inquiry within one business hour during business hours, Monday through Saturday. For urgent situations — active water damage, post-storm assessments — call us directly at (407) 205-7963. Time-sensitive claims benefit from early documentation before restoration work begins.
